Is your company insured?

Yes! PCBA is insured by Pet Care Insurance. We are happy to show you a copy of our policy upon request! 

What happens if there's an emergency with my pet? 

At PCBA, your pet's health is our top priority. That's why we take steps to ensure they receive the best possible care, even in unexpected emergencies. We maintain a network of nearby emergency veterinary hospitals, readily accessible in case of urgent situations. We securely store your pet's complete medical history, including past treatments and medications, for quick reference. Lastly, a veterinary release form on file allows authorized treatment for your pet if we can't reach you or your designated emergency contact during an emergency.

What forms of payments do you accept? 

We accept payment directly through Pet Pocketbook or Venmo. 

What is your cancellation policy? 

PCBA must be notified through pet pocketbook no less than 7 days prior to your scheduled overnights. Failure to do so will result in a 50% cancellation fee, which is 50% of the total scheduled overnights. Cancellation made less than 72 hours (3 days) will result in a 100% cancellation fee, which is the full amount of the scheduled trip. 


Please note that refunds are not available for early returns from your scheduled overnight stay.
Dog walking/cat visit appointments cancelled after 10pm the evening prior to the scheduled walk/visit, will result in a 100% cancellation fee (the total amount of scheduled walk/visit).

Do you do meet and greets?

Yes, we offer complimentary meet and greets prior to the start of any services to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.

Do you offer services on holidays? 

We're proud to offer our full range of services throughout the year, ensuring your pet receives consistent, high-quality care, even on special occasions. To show our appreciation for our dedicated team members who work year-round, we do have a holiday surcharge in place for these days.

How do I sign up for walks? 

Once you have scheduled your complimentary meet and greet with PCBA, you will have access to our online scheduling platform called Pet Pocketbook. This is where you can request walks, cancel walks, see your upcoming appointments and communicate with your walker/sitter during their time with your pet.  

Will my dog be walked in inclement weather including extreme heat or snow storms? 

Our main priority is your pets safety. During extreme heat or severely low temperatures, your walker will use their best judgement. They will ensure that your pet is able to relieve themselves outside and then spend the remaining time indoors.

Overnights: Darien(Norton & Tokeneke), Harbor Point Stamford, Downtown Stamford, Glenbrook, Belltown, Springdale, Shippan Point, Waterside, Old Greenwich, Cos Cob, Riverside, Greenwich(location dependent) 


Cat Visits: Darien(Norton & Tokeneke), Harbor Point Stamford, Downtown Stamford, Glenbrook, Belltown, Springdale, Shippan Point, Waterside, Old Greenwich


Dog Walking: Harbor Point, Downtown Stamford(Smyth, Lifetime, Vela, 66 summer, Summer house).

Do you all charge extra for medication administration?

If your pet is on any oral or injectable medication that does not require an extra set up hands, then this is complimentary during our time with your animal. If there needs to be extra staff involved to help administer any medications, then there will be an additional fee to compensate for this. Please inform us of any medications your pet is on when inquiring for services.
