PCBA is owned and operated by Veterinary Technicians and Assistants with over 25 years of combined experience with specific expertise in Emergency & Critical Care, Oncology & Internal medicine. Our mission is to provide exceptional pet care that is professional, reliable and compassionate. Your pets are cherished members of both your family and the PCBA family, and we are dedicated to treating them as such.
Our team has been meticulously chosen and carefully selected to ensure our clients peace of mind and exceptional service, when your animal is in our care. We pride ourselves on fostering trust and building genuine relationships with both pets and their owners. Our goal is to create a calm and enjoyable experience for your pets, so that they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for.

Anna | Founder & CEO
Anna Levesque, Founder and Owner of Pet Care by Anna, was born and raised in Connecticut and has dedicated much of her life to animal care and veterinary medicine. Her passion began early through years of volunteer work at her local animal shelter, where she participated in more than 30 rescue events throughout high school.
After graduating college in 2011, where she played four years of collegiate softball while completing a double major, Anna began her career in veterinary medicine at a general practice hospital near her hometown of Waterford, Connecticut. She later transitioned into specialty medicine, gaining experience in Emergency Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Oncology.
In 2017, Anna found her true professional passion in Emergency & Critical Care, where she developed extensive experience caring for critically ill patients while supporting families during some of their most difficult moments. That combination of advanced veterinary experience, compassion, and attention to detail became the foundation for PCBA.
Anna created Pet Care by Anna with one goal in mind: to give pet owners complete confidence and peace of mind knowing their pets are being cared for by experienced veterinary professionals. Her vision has grown into a company centered around exceptional care, trust, professionalism, and treating every pet as an individual.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys traveling, spending time with her two nephews, discovering new restaurants with Stephanie, and enjoying life with their three rescue pets: Valentina Rose and Armani Emile, their French Bulldogs, and Ariel Marie, their Bombay cat.
Stephanie | Co-owner & COO
Stephanie Gonzalez, Co-Owner of Pet Care by Anna, was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She graduated college in 2011 with a degree in Animal Science and began her career in veterinary medicine immediately after graduation, working in general practice before transitioning into specialty care.
It was within specialty medicine that Stephanie discovered her passion for Internal Medicine, a field she has continued to work in throughout her veterinary career. Her extensive clinical experience, organization, and attention to detail have played an essential role in shaping the level of care and professionalism PCBA is known for today.
After meeting Anna in 2016, the two joined forces with a shared vision of creating an elevated dog walking and pet sitting company built around experienced veterinary professionals. Stephanie has since become an integral part of PCBA’s growth and day-to-day operations, overseeing scheduling and helping ensure that every client and pet receives consistent, dependable, and personalized care.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys slow mornings with her cat, Ariel Marie, adventures with their two French Bulldogs, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
Cabrina | Operations Manager
Cabrina joined our team in August 2021 and brings more than 15 years of experience in both professional pet care and veterinary medicine. A Greenwich and Norwalk native, she has built an extensive background working with animals throughout Fairfield County.
Her experience began through volunteer work with the Maritime Aquarium and Stamford Animal Shelter, followed by roles at several local veterinary practices as a veterinary assistant. Cabrina currently works in the emergency department at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, where she continues to expand her knowledge and experience in advanced veterinary care.
Her extensive background, hands-on veterinary experience, and dedication to animal care make her a valued member of our team. Outside of work, Cabrina enjoys hiking, attending concerts and festivals, and traveling.
Jillian | Assistant Operations Manager
Jillian joined our team in July 2022 and is an integral part of our daily operations, serving as one of our primary midday dog walkers while also assisting with overnight care and evening visits.
Her experience in the veterinary and animal care field began at just 14 years old and has included a variety of roles, including kennel assistant, veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, and animal control officer. This diverse background has given Jillian extensive hands-on experience caring for animals with a wide range of personalities and needs.
Outside of work, Jillian enjoys spending time with her family and participating in dog shows and canine sports on the weekends. Her extensive animal-care background, reliability, and dedication to our clients and their pets make her a valued member of the PCBA team.
Bryan
Bryan joined our team in January 2023 and brings several years of experience in veterinary medicine, having worked in the field since 2016. He currently works in the surgery department at a local specialty veterinary hospital in Stamford, where he continues to build his experience in advanced patient care.
Bryan has a genuine love for animals of all kinds, with a particular soft spot for our feline clients. His veterinary background, calm demeanor, and hands-on experience make him a trusted and valued member of the PCBA team.

Nur
Nur joined our team in January 2024 and brings a strong academic and veterinary background to PCBA. She graduated from Alfred University with a degree in Biology and a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Studies and has been working in veterinary medicine since 2017.
Her experience began through volunteer work with animal shelters and general practice hospitals, allowing her to build a well-rounded foundation in animal care. Nur is now a newly graduated veterinary nurse working in the oncology department at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, where she continues to expand her experience in specialized patient care.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Nur enjoys dancing, trying new restaurants, movie nights, and expressing her personality through her bright and colorful wardrobe. Her knowledge, warmth, and dedication to animal care make her a wonderful addition to the PCBA team.
Amanda
Amanda started with us in April of 2026! Originally from the Bronx, NY, Amanda brings a strong background in both animal science and veterinary medicine to our team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont and has been working in veterinary medicine since 2021, with plans to pursue veterinary school in the future.
Her experience also includes the unique opportunity to work at the Bronx Zoo, further expanding her knowledge and passion for animal care. Along the way, she also rescued her beloved orange kitty, who quickly became part of the family.
Amanda’s combination of veterinary experience, education, and genuine love for animals makes her a wonderful addition to our team. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, spending time with friends, and continuing to prepare for the next chapter of her veterinary career
Yuliana
Yuliana started with us in June 2024. She is a recent Uconn graduate with a degree in animal science! She has been working in the animal field since 2019 and plans to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian in the coming years. She will be helping with midday walks and cat visits. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts, weight lifting, traveling and spending time at the beach or with her pup Bella. We are excited to see her grow with us!
Katie
Katie joined our team in January 2025 and brings a well-rounded background in both veterinary medicine and professional pet care. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and has gained hands-on experience working in veterinary hospitals as both a veterinary assistant and kennel attendant.
Katie’s experience caring for pets began at just 15 years old through dog walking and pet sitting, giving her years of experience working with animals in both clinical and home environments. At PCBA, she assists with midday walks, overnight care, and cat visits, providing attentive and dependable care to each of her clients.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys hiking, skiing, attending concerts, and, of course, spending time with animals. Her veterinary background, extensive pet care experience, and genuine love for animals make her a valued member of the PCBA team.
Angelica
Angelica joined our team in February 2022 and brings a diverse background in both professional pet care and veterinary medicine. She began her career as a kennel attendant at a general practice in her hometown and later spent four years working in a dog daycare setting, where she gained valuable experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs.
As her interest in the medical side of veterinary care grew, Angelica transitioned into specialty medicine and now works at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. She has extensive experience in emergency medicine and currently specializes in ophthalmology, giving her a strong clinical foundation and a thoughtful approach to patient care.
Outside of work and pet sitting, Angelica enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Disney, hiking, and going on adventures with her own dog. Her veterinary experience, versatility, and dedication to animal care make her a valued member of the PCBA team.
Kevin
Kevin joined our team in December 2025 and brings years of hands-on animal care and veterinary experience to PCBA. His passion for animals began at just 10 years old while helping care for his grandfather’s farm animals, including cows, chickens, and horses.
In 2018, Kevin returned to animal care professionally as a kennel attendant at Greenwich Animal Hospital and Mill Plain Veterinary Clinic. Through years of dedication, continued learning, and hands-on experience, he advanced into a veterinary technician role at Greenwich Animal Hospital.
Kevin’s commitment to animal care has remained constant throughout his career, including during the challenges of COVID and changes within the veterinary field. He now dedicates his available time to PCBA, bringing the same compassion, reliability, and attention to detail to every pet he cares for.
Gwen
Gwen joined our team in October 2025 and brings a strong background in both general practice and emergency veterinary medicine. They are currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology and have been working in veterinary hospitals since the age of 16.
Throughout their career, Gwen has gained experience in several general practice hospitals and now works in emergency medicine at VEG ER for Pets. They are also Fear Free Certified and have valuable experience caring for high-anxiety dogs and cats, allowing them to approach each pet with patience, confidence, and compassion.
Gwen’s dedication to continuing their education and creating a calm, positive experience for every pet makes them a wonderful addition to our team. Outside of veterinary medicine, they enjoy hiking and music!
Valentina | Head of Human Resources
Valentina Rose is the perfect pup for such a demanding job. She is not only street smart, but she finished top in her academic class at 203DogLife Summa cum Laude. Any issues that arise, she is committed to finding a solution and making sure all of our PCBA staff knows how much we love them with daily kisses. She won't kiss too much though....she's very mindful, very thoughtful....very Demure.
Armani | Head of Security
Armani started with us in 2022 and was quickly promoted to Head of Security. His loyalty to PCBA has exceeded all expectations and has learned many of his expert tactics from his sister Valentina. He has a glare that can make a criminal weep and when on patrol, even the squirrels in the park think twice about venturing too close or misbehaving. Safety is his number one priority to all of our PCBA pups and family. He is so good at his job we are starting to wonder if he is secretly a retired Navy SEAL.
