HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

PCBA was started in 2012 in my hometown of Waterford CT. I grew up with my yellow lab mix Sandy, who taught me responsibility, patience and ultimately brought my true passion to the surface. Throughout high school I was an avid volunteer at my hometown animal shelter and participated in animal welfare events throughout Connecticut. After completing four years of collegiate softball and graduating with a Bachelors degree in science, it was apparent my true love of animals was needing to be fulfilled. I became a Veterinary Assistant at a large specialty hospital in 2011, and quickly there after enhanced my career to a Veterinary Technician; focusing on Emergency and Critical Care. I am CPR certified by the The Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation (RECOVER) initiative which is a collaborative project supported by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) and the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC), involving over 100 board-certified veterinary specialists from around the world! I have dedicated my life to enhancing the well being and care of animals, so it comes as no surprise that I wanted to expand my hobby of dog walking and pet sitting to the next level!
